This project is called discovering the undiscovered, and we were tasked with creating a creature from either Earth of from deep space.

So for this one I made a sketch in Photoshop, and then tranferred it into Illustrator. Once in Illustrator, I made the base shapes using the shape tools and then the pathfinder tool to make new and unique shapes. Once done with that, I added a nice and crispy outline to it using the blob brush to try and get that cartoony feel.

This all resulted in this final image of the mushroom man in his natural habitat which is the forest. This project really challenged me, because it was my real first time using the pathfinder tool in Illustrator to create these weirder shapes.
